ChargeX city tour 2019: Heating up in Atlanta

ChargeX city tour 2019

The ChargeX tour, launched by subscription billing solution ReCharge to bring merchants together to educate them on how to grow and properly scale their businesses, hit Atlanta last week and Refersion was there to co-sponsor!

The ChargeX Atlanta event, which we co-sponsored with Glew, was a great success! If you’ve been following us for a while, you know about the ChargeX City Tours that we’ve been attending. We’ve gone from New York City to San Diego and Los Angeles — and now Atlanta.

ReCharge is leading the ecommerce world with their platform that will help you easily sell subscriptions with Shopify. What’s even better is that Refersion easily integrates with ReCharge, giving subscription businesses an easy way to launch an affiliate program.

Merchants, agencies, and tech partners from around the Atlanta area and beyond attended this event. Once everyone was all checked in and seated, Rob Barr, Head of Partnerships and Sales at ReCharge, started off the event. Rob shared some updates with us on what’s next for their platform. He also spoke a little bit about the subscription ecommerce community and how it’s growing.

Refersion’s Director of Business Development, Ashley Spiker, captured the audience’s attention by sharing specific use-case studies involving ReCharge and Refersion integration. Ashley delved into how you can customize Refersion to fit your affiliate program’s goals. She talked about how more and more subscription-based products are becoming popular, whether it’s something fun, like a beauty box, or more practical, like a food subscription box. Because of this, ecommerce platforms (like Refersion and ReCharge) want to make it easy for a merchant to sell subscriptions on Shopify. Our platform integration makes it a piece of cake!

Then, Mark Miano, VP of Sales at Glew, spoke about eCommerce and multi-channel analytics, automations, and advanced reporting. One of the big underlying themes at this event was customer lifetime value which is a necessary KPI for subscription merchants.

After the presentations everyone was split up into two groups: one for agencies, and one for merchants. Each group then had the opportunity to talk with ecommerce experts about growth strategies, and specific problem-solving. This workshop made for a great opportunity for merchants to connect with leading experts in the industry. We really loved hearing everyone’s ideas and seeing everyone work together to come up with solutions and strategies.

Thanks to ReCharge for putting on another great event. See everyone next time!
