We built our team from the ground up and have grown Refersion from a beta product into a profitable company in just 2 years. We’re committed to helping ecommerce businesses of all sizes thrive in a world where performance is everything and data is paramount. We’re here to provide training & support if your team is just getting started or to partner on the product evolution and build custom features if your business requires more complexity. We’re passionate about technology and experts in marketing and we channel that into Refersion to serve business owners everywhere.

Our Leadership

Adam Crawshaw

General Manager, Refersion & Co-Founder, Assembly

Adam Crawshaw is the Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Assembly, and General Manager of Refersion.  Prior to Assembly, Adam spent his career investing and advising across software, ecommerce, and media.  

He was an investor at Sequoia Heritage, a +$6B multifamily office representing current and former Sequoia partners and affiliated entrepreneurs.  Prior to Sequoia, Adam was an investor at Wildcat Capital, a +$3B single family office representing David Bonderman, co-founder of TPG Capital. Adam graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Matt Ryan

Chief Sales Officer

Matt Ryan is the Chief Sales Officer at Refersion where he is responsible for the sales and partnerships organizations within GTM. His key focus is the identification and addition of new customers & partnerships (Tech, Agency, Publishers) onto the Refersion platform to create long-term value through performance marketing. Matt’s track-record over the past decade encompasses building, scaling, and positioning early stage private eComm SaaS companies with established product-market-fit for hyper-growth & meaningful exits. He was the second employee in Trustpilot US (IPO’d 2021) targeting a North American d2c audience, building 100+ headcount team in 2 years.

During his tenure, Matt opened two offices in NYC & Austin while also managing Sales, Sales Development, Partnerships, and Customer Success. To date, his teams have contributed over $2bn+ in company valuations.

Matt Sena

Chief Operating Officer

Matt Sena is the Chief Operating Officer at Refersion, a leading performance marketing platform for ecommerce brands. Prior to joining Refersion in 2020 as the Vice President of Customer Success, Matt co-founded Fieldlens, a software company that was acquired by WeWork in 2017. During his 6 years at Fieldlens, Matt managed finance, customer success, and operations.

Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and his MBA from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. When Matt isn’t focused on leading operations at Refersion, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with family in the Adirondack Mountains. 

Brandon Richey

Chief Technology Officer

Brandon Richey is the Chief Technology Officer at Refersion, a leading performance marketing platform for ecommerce brands. Brandon is a veteran of multiple major tech companies, having worked professionally in the tech space for nearly 20 years. He is also a writer of multiple software development books and has experience in building and scaling engineering teams from the ground up. Brandon specializes in high growth and scaling techniques for both people and technology.

Prior to Refersion, Brandon came from leadership roles at Teladoc and Greenhouse. In addition, he holds a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science, and provides mentorship and career coaching in his spare time.

Raj Nijjer

Chief Marketing Officer

Raj Nijjer is the Chief Marketing Officer at Refersion, a leading performance marketing platform for ecommerce brands. Prior to joining Refersion, Raj was a brand marketing executive at Yotpo, and previously at Yext in multiple leadership roles for nearly four years through its IPO in 2017. Raj also spent over nine years at Godaddy in leadership roles launching innovative product lines with ten patents issued, eventually leading Godaddy to a buyout and an IPO.

Raj received his Bachelor of Science degree in International Management and his MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. In his free time, Raj is an avid angel investor in technology startups, and a thought leader on all things technology, marketing, retail and ecommerce.

Michelle Krier

Vice President, Customer Success

Michelle Krier is the Vice President of Customer Success at Refersion, and manages all end-to-end customer interactions and satisfaction. Her role’s primary focus is ensuring Refersion’s customers understand how to properly leverage Refersion in order to take their affiliate business to the next level. With over 12 years of experience in customer service, Michelle has held leadership roles across multiple industries for companies such as Chanel, BAE Systems and Jitterbit. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing and Related Support Services. When Michelle isn’t focused on Refersion’s customers, she’s busy spending time with her family. 

Adam Curling

Vice President, Sales

Adam Curling is Vice President of Sales at Refersion and is responsible for leading and managing the sales team. Prior to Refersion, Adam led and scaled the sales department at Ekos, a technology company backed by Noro-Moseley Partners and Catalyst Investors.  Adam has also led sales teams at both Yext and Trustpilot. Having received his bachelor of Economics from Hampden Sydney College and an MBA from William & Mary, Adam has experience leading successful small businesses, as well as midmarket and enterprise sales teams at a number of disruptive technology companies.
