We went to IRCE! It was Refersion’s first time with a booth at the Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition event at beautiful Chicago, and we had an absolute blast connecting with current clients, meeting potential new partners, learning about the future of e-commerce, and just walking the show floor for a few days.
If you don’t know about IRCE, this conference and trade show is one of the most prominent in the e-commerce industry. The exhibit hall housed close to 600 different vendors showing off how they can help businesses succeed online.
Specific to our expertise, affiliate networks and tracking software, it was amazing to see the increased attention that affiliate marketing had. It seems like more and more retailers are figuring out that influencer marketing and referral marketing are an important part of the whole picture.
From SMBs to larger merchants like Puma and Sears, traditional brick-and-mortar businesses wanted to learn from us about how to do more business online and mobilize their fan-base to spread word-of-mouth and drive sales.
What also excited us was the amount of potential new partnerships and tech integrations we have on the horizon due to some of our meetings we held at IRCE. Many were interested in leveraging our coupon code tracking technology for social media & influencer campaigns, and we always got smiles when we mentioned our affordable pricing. Don’t be surprised to see Refersion integrated with your favorite vendors in this space in the near future!
And of course, we loved meeting up with our current clients such as Pura Vida, Bosch, Makeup Geek, NMPI Agency, just to name a few. It was inspiring to see how much their affiliate programs have grown during our partnerships. Thank you all for stopping by our booth to say hi!
Overall, we had an excellent time at this conference. It turned out to be an invaluable resource that surprised us in terms of opportunity, networking, and future integrations. Can’t wait to do it again!
